Ever since I started making money, I swore that I’d send my mother flowers for every special occasion. Whether it was her birthday or a holiday, I’d make sure that she had tulips, roses, or peonies to display in her home.
Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that you can’t just trust any florist out there. There have been a few times when a bouquet came looking sad and not worth what I spent on them at all.
So nowadays, I don’t order flowers from places I don’t trust. Below, you’ll find the best florists in Calgary that have never disappointed me with their arrangements and services.

Now, although the blossoms they use are unique and eye-catching in Calgary, they sadly don’t last very long. Based on complaints, the fastest they’ve wilted is 2 days after arriving.

We also think it’s very convenient that you can choose to put any of their arrangements in a variety of beautiful and special vases. This way, they’ll arrive at the recipients ready to be displayed.
And before any flowers are sent out, the shop will always send you a picture of their design. This will allow you to see what your order looks like and check if there’s anything you wish to change.
The only issue is that they get very swamped during peak seasons, like Valentine’s and Mother’s Day. During these times, customers often say they don’t feel heard or attended to in-store.

One thing that stands out about them is that none of their bouquets are the same. They always make sure that each one is special and unique for the recipient.

Charlotte’s Web Florist is known for their highly flexible arrangement options. Although they offer pre-made bouquets, customers are also welcome to customize every single detail of their orders.
We find it impressive that all their arrangements are available all year round. They mainly prioritize color scheme, so they substitute unavailable flowers with whatever’s in season (as long as it has the same value).
And unless it’s a really busy holiday or occasion, they usually accommodate specific delivery times. You just have to order a couple of days in advance and include that under the special delivery instructions.
Just take note that you should call them to follow up a few days before your order. Although it’s rare, there have been a few instances where a bouquet arrived an entire day late.

Whichever service you get, they’ll make sure to consider your budget. All their designs are tailored to fit their customers’ set price point.
However, this won’t affect their services at all. Based on what we’ve seen, they’re always warm and attentive when attending to clients.
Unfortunately, their delivery services aren’t always as impressive as their customer service. There have been a few reports of bouquets not arriving in the best condition. So if possible, maybe it’s better to opt for pickup instead.
