The Lantern Peace Festival is lighting up Calgary once again this August 9, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at the Devonian Gardens
This annual festival is part of Calgary’s Building A Culture of Peace Month, which is all about art that leaves a message.

Some things you can expect at the festival include martial arts performances, Yosakoi dancing, and a set from Wendy Walker and The Tribe.
I’m most excited about seeing all the stunning floating lanterns later on in the afternoon.
