Spend an evening with tapirs at the Calgary Zoo’s Wild After Hours
The Calgary Zoo is bringing back Wild After Hours: Tapirs this fall, and they’re promising an unforgettable night out.
They’re opening up slots for September 20 and 27, and October 25, 2025, anytime from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
You can expect things like private access to tapir habitats and a four-course plated dinner at the Safaeri Lodge dining room.

Last time I went to a Wild After Hours event, I had a blast just relaxing and seeing the zoo without all the crowds.
