These 8 Karaoke Spots in Calgary Hit All the Right Notes For Us

Like many people, I’m the type of person who likes to sing in the shower, because why not? It’s got great acoustics and gives me privacy (not to mention, a major confidence boost) to belt out the highest notes, whether or not I can actually reach them or not.

The sound of running water drowns out pitchy moments too, so I feel perfect every time. But sometimes, I just want a real stage and mic and sing like a true singer. I want to rock out with friends as well! But I don’t think the shower is cut out for that vibe.

So over the years, I’ve checked out a lot of karaoke spots around Calgary where my girls and I can fully embrace our inner rockstars and ballad queens. Here are the best ones we’ve found and reviewed so far. Check them out below!

In our opinion, this venue is great for various events like birthdays, parties, and casual get-togethers. We say this is great for making the frustrated singers’ dreams come true for a night!

Good to know:

You can book Bacchus Karaoke Bar by the hour, so if you think you’ll want extra time, it’s smart to plan ahead.

Nanta Karaoke & Bar is an Asian KTV spot that offers a disco vibe for extra flair. It also provides 10,000 songs to try with your crew! We appreciate that the staff updates their selection regularly, so you can enjoy both classics and the latest hits every time.

Here, you can get private rooms and order plenty of Asian food, including Seoul chicken, teriyaki (soy sauce-marinated) wings, and honey citrus tea—perfect to fuel lots of singing until the bar closes!

We suggest ordering your food right away at Nanta Karaoke & Bar! There’s no “room service” here—you’ll have to leave your karaoke room to get more food and drinks every time you want seconds.
