Once she started considering hiring an employee, she realized that she needed an actual dedicated working space for her brand. Unfortunately, she wasn’t at a point where she could rent out an entire office.
She approached me with her problem, and I quickly realized that the most cost-effective solution was a virtual office. I immediately researched the most reputable ones in the area and came up with a few.

Regus is a well-known virtual office provider, with over 4,000 locations worldwide. This alone is a huge advantage for their clients, who can easily change their business address to any of these locations.
The one they have in Calgary is pretty nice, considering it’s situated in a commercial hub. It comes with pleasant views, an outdoor patio, an on-site coffee bar, and wheelchair-friendly facilities.
It has to be mentioned, though, that this office does have very limited parking. It’s something you’ll have to keep in mind, especially if you plan to have in-person meetings with employees.
Still, their virtual office package does make up for it. It includes a business address, a virtual receptionist, mail handling, telephone answering services, and bookable office spaces.
We also think it’s great that their plans are quite flexible. You can purchase these virtual office agreements on a short or long-term basis, depending on what your business needs.

Calgary Business Centre is a great choice for those who have to meet with clients often. They’re close to Downtown Calgary and very accessible thanks to a nearby bus stop.
Their staff is a huge plus as well. We found their customer service delightful, with friendly receptionists who’ll leave a smile on your face.
But before you even sign a contract with them, they’ll schedule an insightful consultation first. With the help of their experts, you can determine what kind of plan works best for your business.
Most people either go for their basics or premium package, which includes a business address, mail reception, and a message-taking service for the latter. However, you can easily tweak your plan by talking to one of their agents.
The only drawback of choosing them is that they get busy on certain days. So if you plan on having an on-site meeting, it could potentially be a bit noisy.

Most would probably recognize WeWork as one of the most famous coworking spaces globally. However, not as many know that they also offer virtual office services.
They’ll provide you with a business address and mail or package handling services. You can also easily book any of their dedicated desks, meeting rooms, or event spaces.
There’s so much we could say when it comes to their on-site facilities. Besides being a well-decorated space, they’ve got fast wifi, unlimited free coffee, and a great working atmosphere that truly boosts productivity.
Another reason why we chose them is for their unique networking events. They hold these events regularly, and it helps their customers meet potential partners or clients.
Sadly, their reputation does come with a downside. Since they’re popular and have premium facilities, their services are quite pricey compared to other virtual offices out there.

Workhaus is located right in the heart of Downtown Calgary. Not only will you have great views of the city, but your office space will also be easily accessible if you have any meetings.
Their customer support is also excellent. They’re very hands-on and will help you solve any issue, whether it’s with your plan or with their facilities.
And despite it being an unconventional perk, so many customers have praised their included gym amenities. It’s a great way for employees to keep that much-needed work-life balance.
Although their basic virtual office package (professional address and mail handling) is priced fairly, we find their additional services somewhat expensive. This can be a bit disappointing for those whose businesses require extra services like receptionists.
Thankfully, their virtual office plans are pretty flexible. You can get month-to-month agreements, which are especially convenient for those whose brands are just starting out.

We found their workspaces optimized for productivity. They’re very clean, and they provide an environment where people can really focus.
They also offer plenty of attractive freebies, such as printing and scanning, unlimited coffee and tea, and small office supplies. They even have free parking, which you and your customers will surely appreciate.
You can easily approach any of their staff as well. Whether you just have a question or you need help with something, their friendly front desk person is there to help.
The only thing that they lack as a virtual office is receptionist services. This means that they may be okay for businesses that are just starting out, but might not be the best for those that get tons of calls.
