Prompt and Reassuring Urgent Care for a Porcupine Injury
Would definitely recommend VCA North for any emergent/urgent care needs. Last night my dog had an encounter with a porcupine and had to get quills from his face and paws removed. The front staff were so kind and understanding and were able to get him in right away. His care plan was very clearly explained and they were able to answer any questions we had. HIGHLY recommend this emergency vet clinic. We had to use them a couple of times since they opened in Northland for our large dog. The staff at the front desk are welcoming and efficient. The vets we met were very thorough and took their time to patiently explain everything in detail. They are so reasonable in their fees and actually did not charge us for one visit (removed a piece of wood stuck in the back of our pets mouth that we couldn’t see). Everyone we’ve encountered have been exceptional and compassionate. The clinic itself is exceptionally clean and beautiful.

Immediate, Friendly Care Without Emergency-Level Costs
My 8.5 month old pup had been limping for 4 days and I needed to get him to a vet. Beddington was the only one available immediately without being an emergency, every other Vet was a 1 or 2 week wait. The staff was so kind and friendly. They explained Kylo’s issue to me. Gave him 4 days worth of pain meds and very cheap. Thank god with everything going on right now, a big expense would be horrible. Cheers.

Upon stepping in, I immediately like that the clinic creates a calm space where both cats and owners can relax during visits. I also appreciate how they have a cat ward, separate waiting areas, and use special handling for nervous cats.
Plus, they help older pets feel better with physical rehab, acupuncture, and laser therapy. On top of that, they offer clear care plans and give upfront estimates, so it’s easier to know what treatments and costs to expect.
However, their wellness plans only cover puppies and kittens, not adult or senior pets. The clinic is not open 24/7, so you may need to go to another hospital for emergencies.
