Friendly service and beautiful latte art
I had a great experience here! The barista created an amazing latte art for me, and he was incredibly friendly and kind. I wanted to leave an extra tip for him, but by the time we got up to leave, it seemed like he had already finished his shift. The other staff members were also very welcoming. I really loved the positive vibe of the team and the atmosphere they created. I’d definitely love to come back again when I get the chance! 😊

Consistent coffee quality and warm staff
This is my go-to neighborhood coffee shop, and I love how consistent the quality is. When I order a large, I can really enjoy the smoothness of the beans, while the smaller size has a richer, bolder, and nuttier flavor. The baristas are always friendly, and the cashiers greet you with a warm smile every time.

They operate inside the historic C.C. Snowdon building, offering a rustic setup highlighted by century-old wooden tables. Rooted in a rugged history, the entire space is deeply influenced by Canadian mountain culture and wilderness exploration.

As a minor downside, whole bean selections are treated as perishable food items, so they can’t be returned under any circumstances. Customers also have a very tight one-hour window to request order changes if they alter their minds.

Rustic café with friendly service
Excellent customer service. The manager, Riley, is so warm and friendly and the two gals behind bar were so great. The space is so rustic and industrial and cozy with awesome natural light. Once you hit the basement though, that’s where the dark and moody speakeasy vibes come in and I think it might be my new go-to to crush out some work. Coffee is on the darker side so it’s very approachable and really well done.

Great coffee with a relaxed patio
Nice coffee shop here in Calgary on 17th Ave. I had the mocha and it was very good. The outdoor patio on the side can be pleasant if you can put up with the car traffic. And remember instead of an Americano coffee order a Canadiano. 👍😎

Cozy patio spot for quality coffee
Analog Coffee is a great spot to relax, especially with its inviting outdoor patio that’s perfect for chilling and catching up with friends. The coffee is high-quality, and I especially recommend their flat white—it’s smooth and well-balanced. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, making it ideal for a coffee break or a casual meet-up. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the enjoyable experience. Tip: visit during the morning or late afternoon for a quieter, more relaxing vibe.

5. Frida’s Coffee Home

Website:https://fridascoffeehome.ca/
Address: 1110 9 Av, SW
Contact: (825) 558-7296
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Frida’s Coffee Home stands out with an authentic Mexican menu featuring heritage recipes, bringing a vibrant taste of San Miguel de Allende to the city.
Complementing these rich flavours, you can sample traditional specialty beverages such as spiced Café de Olla and comforting Atole, alongside freshly baked conchas.
Plus, everything is roasted locally in small batches to preserve the delicate regional characteristics of the Mexican harvest.
We also appreciate that they rely on direct-trade relationships with estates across Chiapas and Atoyac to ethically source their beans. This connection guarantees fair compensation for the farming communities.
As for the interior, it offers an immersive cultural experience, adorned with gorgeous hand-painted tiles.
On the downside, their standard return policy is exceptionally strict. They only accept refund requests for items over $50 within a short seven-day period.
The products must also remain completely unopened in their original packaging. This rule leaves zero room for testing a bean blend at home.

Worth the trip for Mexican treats
We come all the way from Medicine Hat Alberta because it’s so worth it. We tried their tres leches cake. Every bite of that cake was delicious. The best part, without a doubt, was the cajeta lattee. It was unbelievably creamy, with a texture I’ve never had before. Honestly, it tasted like a latte in heaven. We also loved their macha lattee. 5 stars for everything!

Cozy space with standout specialty drinks
A beautiful cozy space, love the decor and the staff are very friendly. It was recommended to try Marzapan Latte and coconut pineapple corn muffin. The Latte was the perfect blend of dark, rich, nutty and creamy. The muffin is divine! I will be back.
