Opened in 2019, StowAway RV Storage is conveniently nestled near Deerfoot Trail and Stoney Trail, offering a direct path to the Rocky Mountains and Alberta’s tranquil lakes.

What really caught our eye are the amenities. They’ve got potable water, gray water and sanitary dumping, an on-site air compressor, garbage and recycling facilities, plus winterization and cleaning services.

They’re even partnered with a pest control company to keep the lot rodent-free—a definite win in our book.

Safety-wise, StowAway’s got it covered with a well-lit, fully fenced property, top-notch drainage, and a PTI security system featuring key code access, mobile gate solutions, and complete video surveillance.

Located within Calgary’s city limits, you’ll find it at the northeast corner of Stoney Trail and Deerfoot.  Just head down 144 Avenue off Metis Trail and follow it west to the very end—StowAway will be right there.

Overall, we recommend StowAway Self Storage for their convenient location, top-notch security features, and additional services like winterization and cleaning.

Their new gate entry system is a game-changer—just drive up, and it opens automatically, no keypad fuss required. Pretty slick, if you ask us.

The facilities are solid, with public washrooms, free air, firewood, and ice on-site, though we wouldn’t mind seeing a few extra services like winterization and cleaning.

Maintenance is always on the ball when it comes to weather, and the security is top-notch, with 24/7 surveillance thanks to an on-site caretaker keeping a watchful eye.

The best part is that they collect bottles for CAMP SUNFLOWER, supporting a local summer camp for children with severe disabilities. This place truly combines great amenities, safety, and community spirit.

We appreciate their flexibility with storage dates, making it easy to adjust to changing schedules. The units feel secure, thanks to the surveillance cameras, and everything is well-maintained.

Pricing varies based on your needs, but they regularly offer promos and deals to help keep costs down. One downside, though, is that size restrictions can apply, so you’ll want to double-check with them about your RV’s dimensions.
